Can antibiotics cause bloating and abdominal pain? - abdominal bloating and pain after eating
I have a serious sinus infection and began taking antibiotics / claratin / Sudafed and Thursday, and my doctor told me. My stomach is in pain since then, and I am very swollen because of it. I can not say if the weight of barley water, as I could for some time, how much to eat, my stomach hurt. Is this normal and what do you go after antibiotics?

Always good to take antibiotics to food, as they can be very hard in the stomach. Ask your pharmacist if it will avoid certain foods while taking your specific antibiotics (eg, some of them should not be taken with calcium).
Antibiotics have a "bleaching" effect on the digestive system, which, as it kills germs in the body, but it also kills the "good" bacteria in the gut that help digest food normally. Consequently, there may be flatulence, diarrhea and smelly digest / the feces. You can include a contribution to the restoration of intestinal flora by eating dairy probiotics (eg Danone Activia yogurt), avoid fatty foods and keep hydrated.
